Harry's New Boat

Well, look who's got a new boat!
Harry Jones has just taken possession of his very own Topper. The boat seems well ballanced and in good condition.
I'm sure we'll see Harry pushing the pace in the General Handicap races very soon

2012 Winter Series

The 2012 Blue Robin Winter Series' is now under way.

Two races every Sunday between 12 and 3pm, with lunch in between. As usual, lunch can be purchased from our galley. Typical menu being soup and a roll with a cup of tea/coffee for just Ł1.50. Other foods available at member's prices. This series is open to non-members

2011 Solo Welsh National Event

34 Solos entered the Insurance-4-boats sponsored Solo Welsh Championship hosted by TATA Steel Sailing Club (formerly Corus S.C.) The forecast was a bit grim with high winds from the East and rain. Fortunately the rain stayed away for both days and the Saturday was quite sunny. Race officer Mike Hewlins set a challenging course for the 5 race series.
