Laser Fleet Lasers
are the largest single class at Corus and have their own start in all
series except for Saturdays. Racing is always very competitive with
sailors ranging from current and past squad members to relative
beginners. Sailors may use radial rigs and sail with the standard fleet
but without handicap. 4.7 and 8.1 rigs sail in the general handicap
fleets. To try and keep costs down and encourage competitive racing
the club has recently decided to allow sailors to use non-laser made
sails and spars for all races except at the club regatta.
